Multihulls at Burnham Week Posted by Webmaster on 28th April 2009 Burnham Week’s MOCRA Multihull class for 2009 looks like being one of the successes of twin and triple wake racing on the East Coast.
Boats from as far north as Southwold and as far west as Poole have shown serious interest in taking part, with sixteen expressing solid interest.
Four Dragonfly 920s are looking to lock horns, two from the Thames Estuary’s Essex Yacht Club, one from Levington Marina and one from Southwold. The smaller Dragonfly 800s are well represented, as are the Farrier trimarans, 28, 31 and 33.
Phantom East Coast Championship Posted by Webmaster on 2009-02-12 Prepare for the Nationals at Llandadno and have fun at the same time, by joining in Burnham Week for the Phantom East Coast Championship on Saturday 29th August to Monday 31st August 2009. Two races per day for three days - Socials and food in the evening on Saturday and Sunday. Prize Giving Monday afternoon.
Ospreys in Burnham Week 2009 Posted by Webmaster on 2009-02-03 With Burnham Week included as part of the Gul series, the Osprey Fleet expects to attract some of the top sailors from the circuit in 2009. The fleet has grown steadily over the previous two years and Rob Shaw is confident of a highly competitive fleet this summer.
Stella Class 50th Anniversary Championships' Posted by Webmaster on 2009-01-21 The Stella is still very much alive and loved and this year's Burnham Week will host the last three races of the Stella Class 50th Anniversary Championships,(an 11 race series) which concludes on the Bank Holiday Monday, when we also race for the 'Founders Cup'.

The Town Cup is the most prestigious trophy of Burnham Week, being the prize for first place on handicap in the final Saturday Race in Class One. First won by Neith in 1927, in 2008 it was the turn of "Heartbeat III". Read More...
