CYC
Crouch Yacht Club

The Crouch Yacht Club was founded in 1907 and is situated at the west end of the Quay in Burnham-on-Crouch, the yachting capital of the East Coast.

The Clubhouse, which the Club has occupied since 1912, was once a sail loft; the frontage, added in 1980, has two floors with bars offering views of the river and is an ideal location for après sail, and varied functions such as birthdays, wedding receptions and parties etc.

In 2004 the CYC became an Approved RYA Training Centre.

The Crouch Yacht Club has a long and successful history in yacht racing although cruising and motor boats are equally welcome and catered for. We have annual race weekends to other clubs on the East Coast and, when cruising, members are encouraged to come along and join the party.
