A Sunday in May offers the opportunity for anybody to get afloat at any of the town’s four sailing centres : for the first time, all the clubs will be opening their doors to the public so that anyone, young and old alike, who have wanted a chance to get out on the water, can do just that.

Burnham Week 2012 will start on August Bank Holiday Saturday with eight days of racing in the rivers Crouch and Roach. This is the final major regatta of the season and those who took part in the whole week last year enjoyed some of the best sailing weather of the season.
